Recreational Program

The Recreational program is designed to offer age appropriate weekly classes covering the basics of ballet and jazz. Each student will participate in the annual recital in May. Our recreational classes are divided based on the age of the dancer now. SUMMER 2018 REGISTRATION STARTS MARCH 1st!

SUMMER 2018 REC CLASS SCHEDULE

MONDAY

Preschool (ages 3-5)ACRO/DANCECOMBO 3:45-4:30 PM

Ages 6-8 COMBO 4:30-5:30 PM

Ages 9 COMBO and up 5:30-6:30

Jazz/Ballet Combo

$60 per month

This high energy class combines the basic elements of ballet and jazz along with strength, flexibility and coordination. Dancers will utilize the barre, across the floor combinations and center work. All Students in these classes will participate in the annual recital. This class is offered according to age groups

Preschool Dance/Acro Class

$55 per month

Students will learn a combination of ballet, jazz and basic acrobatics specific to dance in an age appropriate environment. Strength, flexibility, "turn taking", hand eye coordination and games will be incorporated in this class. Students will participate in the end of the year recital.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM

The Competitive program is designed for the dancer who aspires to move on to collegiate and professional levels of dance. Read below for the different types of programs offered

PERFORMANCE GROUP

AGES 7-14

This is a GREAT option for the dancer that wants to compete but may not want to commit to more than one day a week at the studio. They will take a one hour technique class along with a 30 minute rehearsal for their routine. These dancers will compete in 3 competitions in the Spring! NO TRY OUTS. PETITES

AGES 4-6

These are our tiny but FIERCE competitors! Our petites will take a one hour technique class along with a 30 minute rehearsal per week. They compete in 3 competitions in the Spring. NO TRY OUTS. Talk to Mrs. Drew for more information.
