COMPETITIVE DANCE PROGRAM

The competitive dance program is for the dancer taking their training a step further. These dancers are aspiring to move on to a collegiate or professional level of dancing. They compete in three regional Spring competitions. TDC offers varied commitment levels to allow for everyone to experience competition at a level that fits your dancer’s schedule. There will be no tryouts for the 2019/2020 competition teams and it is up to the discretion of the TDC staff to place the dancer in the appropriate level . These are our tiny but FIERCE competitors! Our petites will take a one hour technique class along with a 30 minute rehearsal per week. Petites will also train in acro and ballet technique to further prepare them for company should they choose to continue their training. They compete in 3 competitions in the Spring.

The cost is $80/month.

This is for the dancer that is fully committed and serious about training as a competitive dancer. They are striving for collegiate and professional levels.  Dancers on company are chosen by invitation only and will vigorously train in  technique, ballet, tap  and acro. Each dancer can be chosen to compete in 1 - 6 dances yearly, as well as, compete (by invitation only) with a solo or duet. The cost is $150/month.
