DREW MYERS
Studio Director/Owner
Drew Myers has over 25 years of dance experience. As the daughter of an Air Force Officer, she had the opportunity to train with the Sacramento Ballet, St. Louis Ballet, Alabama Dance Theater and Boston Ballet. While attending high school in Los Angeles, she studied several forms of dance. Drew furthered her dance career at The University of Mississippi where she competed and performed for four years as an Ole Miss Rebelette. While in Oxford, Drew also taught jazz and ballet at Deborah Kaye School of Dance. She teaches all the recreational and competition technique classes along with the ballet classes.
Drew received a B.S in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi and a B.S in Nursing from William Carey University. She plans on combining her knowledge of dance and physical well being to implement a program for all ages.
Drew is married to Holland Myers and has two sons, William and Samuel.
WHITNEY PETTIT
Acro DIrector
Whitney is a Kosciusko native who began her gymnastics training at the age of 4. She competed as a gymnast for over 13 years . She is currently studying to become a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher which focuses on specific skills for the competitive dancer. She strives to focus on teaching proper technique and cleanliness as students progress and learn new acro skills.
Whitney graduated with a Masters from the University of Memphis with a degree in Speech Language Pathology and is currently working as a speech language pathologist in the Kosciusko School District.
Whitney is married to Hart Pettit and has 2 children, Tanner and Emory Hart.
ALLYSON CROCKER
Hip Hop Instructor
Allyson has been dancing since the age of 3 and competing for over 5 years . In 2017, she held the KAR National Champion title for her solo and in 2015, she traveled to Los Angeles to train and receive her assistant teacher certification. Allyson's true love is Hip Hop and recently trained at the Joffrey Summer Hip Hop intensive in New York City to further her knowledge in this area. Allyson currently attends Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi.
CORRIE KEPLINGER
Ballet Instructor
Coralie (Corrie) Keplinger began her ballet training at three years old in her hometown of Harrisonburg, Virginia with Rockingham Ballet Theatre. She furthered her training under Pamela McCray at the Staunton Academy of Ballet. There she was able to study R.A.D., perform leading roles in the Nutcracker as well as other story ballets, and began assisting instructors there as well as teaching older dancers at InMotion school of dance. Over the years she attended several summer intensives with Ballet Magnificat!. After high school, Corrie moved to Portland Oregon to join Instruments Ballet as a company apprentice and teacher in their school, where she taught many “baby” ballerinas. Corrie has relocated to Jackson this year to participate in Ballet Magnificat!’s trainee program. Her heart is to wholesomely pass on the joy, creativity, and heart of ballet to young artists in order to help them excel in any path they choose, by providing a nourishing and healthy dance experience.
